Meaning of Respect......if u dont, better dont xpect from others....

Sunny Day

Well, after a long hibernate at last i get some time to drop by a few lines into this blog...... :P .. This article was based one of the writters who write this article but i am really like this article. So i decided to share this article with you all.......

Where there is equality there is no respect. And then I mean as valuation on good and bad, large and small. Think highly of, honor and respect (good), Think little of, disrespect, and despise (bad).

When we are equal we are neither larger nor smaller than others and therefore neither look up to nor down on anybody.

Respect can only thrive in comparison with lesser or no respect. We think higher of one than another. In same way self-respect is our value of ourselves and not necessarily compared to others but also compared to what or how we could have been if... If we value ourselves as lesser than then our self-respect is also lesser. If we value ourselves as better than then we see ourselves as respectable.

High and low value of respect is in no accordance with reality. And never can be. We can very well value ourselves and others with great unfairness as well as fair and either way in no accordance with reality.

To value another, whether like this or that, is in itself unfair. We value respect highly and see it as indispensable factor in our lives. And by that we look pass the fact that respect is in fact fear. And then it makes no difference whether it is little or much, for us or from us.To see oneself as lesser or better than other, is fear.

When we see someone as respectable (better than) we see ourselves as lesser than and that is underestimation that often shows itself as weakness or interiority complex, which is fear.

That also applies when we value others as lesser, then we see ourselves as better than and that is overestimation that often shows itself is arrogance which also is fear.

If we don’t see ourselves as better or lesser than others and neither look up to or down on anyone we don’t have the need to show others respect or disrespect. It’s up to each of us to decide whether we choose to create equality, which is peace or respect, which is fear..

Yours truly

Sunny Day!

Hi !! I am bek again. How are you all ? Hope you all still remain the same. Recently, I have been ouf of the town on behalf of my counselor to attend a meeting at Kuala Terengganu. What kind of meeting I need to attend ? Well, the title of the meeting sounds like this "Mesyuarat Pegawai Kaunseling / Psikologi". Wohh, it sounds great, right? It seems like I am a counselor but I am not. Well, I depart from KLIA to Lapangan Terbang Sultan Mahmud it roughly takes 50 minutes.

For sure, I am so excited and thinking how is Kuala Terengganu looks like. In my whole life, I never think that I had chanced to left a foot print in Kuala Terennganu. No matter how is it, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to my counselor for letting me to attend the meeting on behalf of her. Thank you so much.

After 50 minutes in the air, at last I reached Kuala Terengganu. You know what I never think that Sultan Mahmud Airport is designed in this way. What way ? In tradition customs of course. Let me show the designed of the airport.

I am really didnt expect the airport are designed in this way. No matter, how is it, each state have their own indentify. Well, its really amazing, right ?

Let me elaborate more about Kuala Terengganu.

Kuala Terengganu (colloquially abbreviated as KT; Jawi: كوالا ترڠڬانو) is the largest city as well as the state and royal capital of Terengganu state, Malaysia. On 1 January 2008, Kuala Terengganu was awarded as a city. The city has a population of 295,306 and is also the seat of a district of the same name.

Kuala Terengganu is located about 500 kilometers northeast of Kuala Lumpur on a promontory surrounded on three sides by the South China Sea. It means the "river mouth of Terengganu", referring to the broad expanse of the Terengganu River estuary which empties into the ocean at this point. People in Terengganu speak Terengganese Malay.

Hopefully, you all get more details about Terengganu. At here, I hope to see you all again in Part 2 about Terengganu and my meeting as well. C ya !!

Sunny Day !

Hi !!! I am bek again. Firstly, I would like to apologize for not been update my blog that been full of cob web. Yeah ! Busy mah ! After all what do you think then ? Well, I would like to share a story about Harvest Festivals. The story begins like this...........

In May, the people of Sabah celebrate their harvest season. Though mainly a festival of the Kadazandusun, which makes up one third of the total population of the state, it is celebrated by every Sabahan.

They give thanks to the gods and spirits for blessings and a good paddy harvest, asking for guidance; they dance and eat and drink amidst much merrymaking! During this harvest festival, the Pesta Ka'amatan, known locally as “Tadau Ka’amatan”, Sabah natives wear their traditional costumes and enjoy a carnival-like atmosphere, which usually stretches from dawn to dawn. Tapai’, as their homemade rice wine is called, is freely served during the festivities.

Although many young native Sabahans have been assimilated into urban settings, living and working in the cities and towns, they return to their ancestral longhouses and villages to join in the annual celebrations of their traditionally agricultural societies.

The origins of Ka'amatan, which means "after harvest", can be traced back to the animistic beliefs of the Kadazandusun. The Kadazans believe in the worship of ancient gods and in the existence of the five main spirits – Kinoingan (Almighty God and Creator), Rusad (Spirit of all living things other than Man), Koududuvo (Spirit of the Living), Tombivo (ghostly Spirit of the Dead) and Rogon (evil Spirit).

According to popular belief, the spirit of the padi plant is said to be part of the Kinoingan commonly known as the Bambaazon, who is revered as the overall creator, an omnipotent source of life and existence. Thus the spirit of Bambaazon is revered in the rice plant, the rice grain and the cooked rice. To the Kadazandusun, paddy is not only their staple food - it is also a sacred plant, a living symbol of Kinoingan's love for his people. Many believe that “without rice, there is no life”.

Rituals performed during Ka'amatan are conducted by the much-respected Bobohizan or Bobolian, who are High Priests and Priestesses. There are several major components that make up Ka'amatan. There is the home coming of the Bambaazon, which is an integral part of the festival, thus ensure an abundant harvest if it is invited to dwell in the best ears of paddy, which have been selected for the next planting season.

Next, there is the Magavau ceremony, where the Bobohizan are given the onerous duty of searching, salvaging and recovering Bambaazon which have inadvertently been lost, stolen or led astray - by pests and predators, natural phenomena such as floods and droughts, careless harvesters, and the like - reciting a long summoning prayer in the beginning of the harvest to cajole and persuade the Bambaazon to return to the rice barns.

Then, there is the Unduk Ngadau, a traditional beauty contest, in which, of course, the fairest in the land will participate, and a Ka'amatan Queen will be selected. This is however no ordinary beauty contest, as it apparently owes its origins to the legend or story of the Kadazandusun's genesis, and their creator, Kinoingan's sacrifice of his only daughter Huminodun, for the love of his people.

Besides the solemn rituals and ceremonies that form the main function of Ka'amatan, a variety of other activities are held in the villages as well as on a state level including traditional sports such as buffalo races, blow pipe competitions traditional dances and arm, knuckle and finger wrestling.

This all about the History of Harvest Festival. So, what are we waiting for ? Wish you all have a wonderful Harvest Festivals this month. C Ya...

Hi !!! I am bek again. After so many weeks away from my planet, Its time for me to come back to see you again guys. After so many weeks away a lot of happiness and sadness things comes around my life. Such as...... find it out urself. If you would like to know it. After all, hopefully doesn't effect me as well.

Today I would like to share you a story regarding a best friends story. What a best friend means ? This story begins like this.........

One can very confidently say that he who has found a best friend in life has found the rarest treasure in this world. Well says an anonymous poet- "Everyone hears what you say. Friends listen to what you say. Best friends listen to what you don't say."

In our everyday life we get to know so many people. Some of them become close friend. But there is a subtle difference between close friends and best friends. Friends are ones that support you in your work and help you when you make a mistake. But best friends will never let you to commit that mistake. They are like the superego in all of us. A true friend will never let you go wrong.

Trust is the most important link amongst best friends. Helen Keller had once said that she preferred walking in the dark with a friend rather than walking alone in light. Best friends show us the correct path when we are lost, laugh with us when we are happy and cry even when we try to hide our tears.

However very paradoxically, it's not always that human beings can be best friends only. Animals can be very loyal friends sometimes. Some people claim that their pet dog is their best friend.

Many social communities have best friends clubs which forwards emotional help to adolescents needing it. Such clubs have volunteers who listen to emotional problems, hold awareness programs and also provide counseling whenever necessary.

No one is perfect in this world. Everyone needs help and support. This is the reason why God has sent us friends. Best friends are so precious that a single article cannot do justice to the topic.

So this is wat i meant Best Friends. So those do not know what does it means, better learn to be an educated person.
